About Suso Foundation
Finding the “They” Within Us
So often, when challenges arise in our communities, we hear people say,
“They should do something about that.”
“These kids need something to do.”
“If they had programs for youth, maybe things would be different.”
Over time, I realized that “they” wasn’t some invisible group or faraway organization. They are us. The responsibility to inspire, guide, and uplift doesn’t belong to someone else — it belongs to each of us who care enough to act.
The SUSO (Show Up, Show Out) Foundation was born from that moment of clarity — the understanding that I am “they.” You are “they.” Together, we are the ones capable of creating opportunity where there is lack, of providing direction where there is confusion, and of sparking hope where there is doubt.
Our mission is to help young people — especially those from Black and Brown communities — discover their purpose, unlock their potential, and step into leadership with confidence. Through mentorship, entrepreneurship labs, cultural truth-telling, and experiential learning, SUSO helps youth show up with confidence and show out with purpose.
Because lasting change begins when each of us decides that we are the ones we’ve been waiting for.

Empowering Young Leaders
The SUSO (Show Up, Show Out) Foundation helps young people build confidence, leadership, and purpose. We give youth — especially from Black and Brown communities — the tools to dream big, think like entrepreneurs, and become leaders who create change. Through hands-on learning, mentorship, and programs like The Legacy Bus and Truth Tours, we connect students to history, culture, and real-world skills that prepare them for success.

What Makes Us Special
The SUSO Foundation isn’t just about programs — it’s about people and purpose. We meet young people where they are and help them grow into who they’re meant to be. We center Black and Brown youth, helping them see their history, brilliance, and leadership reflected in what they learn. From entrepreneurship projects to The Legacy Bus and Truth Tours, SUSO connects lessons to lived experience. We build partnerships with schools, churches, and local organizations to create opportunity where it’s needed most.

Get Involved
If you believe in what we do, the most powerful thing you can do is get involved — help us give more young people the tools, experiences, and support they need to lead with confidence. You can make a difference by donating to help fund programs like The Legacy Bus and Truth Tours, partnering with us through your school, business, or organization or volunteering your time, skills, or mentorship to empower youth directly.
The movement is growing. Together, we’re creating spaces where young people learn to lead, innovate, and show up with purpose.
